Pinterest to Midjourney Moodboard Chrome extension

Short version: this extension does not sell data, does not use ads, does not run analytics, and does not send your Pinterest board data to the developer. It processes visible Pinterest image URLs locally in your browser so you can export them for Midjourney Moodboards.

Information the extension handles

When you click the extension button on a Pinterest board, the extension reads visible page content needed for its user-facing feature. This may include Pinterest image URLs, the current board URL, the board title, image alt text, and related pin URLs.

The extension also stores your latest export and extension settings locally using Chrome storage, so the popup can keep showing your last generated moodboard package.

How the information is used

The extension uses this information only to help you create a Midjourney Moodboard package from a Pinterest board. It can copy image URLs, export TXT/CSV/HTML files, copy URLs and open the Midjourney Moodboards page in one action, and download images together in a single ZIP file through Chrome.

When you request a ZIP download, the extension fetches image files directly from Pinterest's HTTPS image servers at pinimg.com and builds the ZIP locally in your browser. These requests disclose your IP address and the requested image URLs to Pinterest's image servers. No image files or board data are sent to the developer.

Data sharing and transfers

The extension does not transmit collected Pinterest board data to the developer or to a developer-controlled server.

If you choose to paste image URLs into Midjourney, upload downloaded images, or open external websites, those services process data according to their own privacy policies. This policy does not cover Pinterest, Midjourney, Google Chrome, or Cloudflare.

Local storage and retention

The extension stores settings and the latest generated image list locally in Chrome storage. ZIP download progress is kept in temporary browser session storage. Image bytes and the ZIP are held temporarily in browser memory while preparing and saving the download, and released afterward. Downloaded ZIP files remain on your device until you delete them.

You can remove the extension's local data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension's stored data in Chrome.

Permissions

Advertising and analytics

The extension does not include advertising, tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Security

The extension uses direct HTTPS image URLs where available and avoids developer-controlled servers. Any data you choose to send to Pinterest, Midjourney, Chrome, or other websites is handled by those services.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if the extension changes how it handles data. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
